ABOUT
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Previously, I was a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Grinnell College. I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from DePaul University.
I specialize in feminist philosophy, social and political philosophy, critical theory, Marxism, and decolonial thought. Particularly, I work on questions related to stability, capitalism, emancipation, revolution, gender and sexuality, as well as Eastern European thought and the Balkans.
I am the co-founder and executive director of the Balkan Society for Theory and Practice, an international research society based in Kosova, and I am research associate for the Society for Women of Ideas.
